It’s National parks and wildlife reserves boast over 300 species of mammal and more than 1000 species of birds, though Uganda’s major attraction is the approximate half of the 880 remaining mountain gorillas.

Day 1: On arrival at Entebbe
You will meet our guide who will transfer you to your overnight guest house. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to take a boat excursion to Ngambs Island (optional and not included), visit the nearby Uganda Wildlife Education Center also optional.
Day 2: Drive to Mabamb Swamp for birding
After an early breakfast at the hotel, which is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, traditional one of the few and best places to spot the rare and elusive shoebill stock in central Uganda.
The bird species that we expect to encounter here include the Goliath Herons, white faced whistling Duck, White-winged warbler, Lesser Jacana, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, winding Cisticola, yellow-backed, Golden-backed, Vieillot’s Black, Weyns’s and orange weaver and Red-headed Lovebird among others. The birding at Mabamba swamp, we normally use a canoe to maneuver through the thin pass in the swamp untill we find the Mabamba shoebill stock as well identify other bird species, which makes the whole activity exciting. After we will latter drive back to the guest house while birding on the way, arriving the hotel in the evening.
Day 3: Jinja for whitewater rafting
We will drive to Jinja early morning and meet with the rafting team in Jinja and attend a briefing session after which you will get into the vehicle and drive to the starting point where you will also be taken though a brief exercise to familiarise yourself with the rafting experience. Make your choice between Grade 3 or Grade 5 rapids and begin your adventure. Rafting on the Nile lasts between 1 to 3 hours and it is always celebrated with a cold bottle of Nile special beer at the end. Then drive back to Entebbe for overnight.
Day 4: Relaxation
On this day we will relax at the hotel.
Day 5: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
Today you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will be briefed on do’s and don’ts before heading out to look for Rhinos. After tracking you will have Lunch and then drive to Murchison falls national park for overnight.
Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat cruise on the bottom of the falls.
After early morning breakfast, you will go for your early morning game drive that gives you chance for wild game that include Lions, buffaloes, elephants, several antelopes, leopards and so much more. The Delta region is also very rich with water water animals such as hippos, crocodiles and the rare shoebill stock. At Murchison Falls National Park, it is nature that gives so the fact that wild animals graze and move naturally, seeing any animal will depend on your luck of the day. Afterwards, you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and then head for the afternoon Boat cruise to the base of the falls. This boat cruise to the base of the falls is seen as the highlight of the activities at Murchison Falls National Park since many water and land animals can be sighted. Expect to see lots of Buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, many water birds as you cruise up stream to the base of the falls where water squeezes itself into a narrow gorge to later explodes as it flows down words. Overnight at the park.
Day 7: Drive to Hoima
After morning breakfast you will drive to Hoima on your way to Kibale National Park for a culture scenic and overnight there.
Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park
After early morning breakfast you will drive to Kibale National Park arriving in the afternoon have Lunch. After you can rest or have a community walk or Bigodi wetland walk. Overnight at Kibale.
Day 9: Chimpanzee and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast you will ahead to the park headquarters at Kanyankyu for briefing about the do’s and don’ts while in the forest trekking chimpanzees. You and our guide plus other clients will head to the forest to look for a given community of wild but habituated chimpanzees. You will be allowed to spend 1hour with chimps for photography and observation but your walk will be punctuated by lots of birds, other primates among others.
After Lunch, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight at the park.
Day 10: Morning Game drive and Afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
This morning you will head back to the plains of Kasenyi for a morning game drive in search for Savannah wildlife that may include herds of buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and if you are lucky, you will spot some wild cats such as lions and leopards. After lunch, you will hard to the jetty along the kazinga channel for the afternoon Boat cruise. This cruise offers you beautiful chances of viewing animals like: hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and some water birds which flop the channel to drink water. Overnight at the park.
Day 11: Kyambura chimp trekking and Katwe salt mines.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Kyambura to join other trekkers for briefing and their after start your chimpanzee walk in the gorge. Your experienced ranger guide will help you identify several flora and fauna species resident in this gorge. Once you find a community of chimpanzees, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them for photography. Return from the trek for lunch and short relaxation then a visit to Later salt mines Lake Later is an explosive crater which is gifted with salt. The local community have been mining/extracting salt from this lake for decades. You will meet a local guide from the community who will take you for a tour around the salt mines while explaining how salt extraction is done. Overnight at the park.
Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable National park
Early morning you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda and Shared between 3 districts of Kabale, Kanungu and Kisoro. Your journey to Bwindi will take you through the rolling hills with terraced gardens of Irish potatoes and sometimes tea. You will arrive late afternoon for overnight at the park. Bwindi is a home to almost half of the World’s endangered mountain gorillas and the only National Park where wild Chimpanzees co-exist with mountain gorillas.
Day 13: Gorilla tracking
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters to join other trekkers to be allocated a Gorilla family that you will trek. Of course the park staff will first brief you concerning the do’s and don’ts of while with the gorillas. After that you will have a starting point of the family your to trek. This trek will take 30mins to a quarter of the day depending on where the mountain gorillas will be found. Please note that gorillas can be strenuous and as such a certain level of fitness is required. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend with them one hour and take photos. Overnight at the park.
Day 14: Golden Monkey trekking
Early morning breakfast and transfer to Mgahing National Park for briefing and then go for the Golden Monkey trekking. This golden monkey walk will expose you to other attractions in the park before returning back to your hotel for overnight.
Day 15: Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi is referred to as a place for many birds and undoubtedly the loveliest lake in Uganda. It’s contorted shore encircles 29 Islands, surrounde by steep terraced hillsides reminiscent of parts of Nepal. A magical place especially with the morning mist rising off the placid waters. On arrival you will relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Day 16: Relaxation and boat canoeing
Morning breakfast and relaxing then go for boat canoeing across the Islands.
Day 17: Relaxing on the Lake.
Day 18: Lake Mburo National Park
Early morning breakfast then drive to Lake Mburo. You will arrive Lake Mburo late afternoon then you will do a evening game drive on your way to your lodge. Overnight at the park.
Day 19: Game drive and boat cruise
Our guide will drive your to the park for a game drive depending on your interest. Lake Mburo had a bad history vwith wildlife and humans to the extent that major animals like lions were hunted down. But to improved relationship between the government and local communities animals and communities co-exist together. Many animals have now come up like lions though rarely seen and giraffes. A game drive in lake Mburo National park will guarantee you herds of buffaloes, zebras, impalas and so much more. After Lunch you will go for a boat cruise.
Day 20: Travel back to Entebbe for your flight out.
